"They're Made Out of Meat" by Terry Bisson is a short story that humorously explores the perspective of extraterrestrial beings who are incredulous upon discovering that humans, despite their intelligence, are composed entirely of flesh and meat. The aliens struggle to comprehend the idea that a sentient species could exist in such a seemingly primitive biological form.
