This product contains a two week plan to analyze the story. It includes a vocabulary identification chart using context clues, imagery and literary device identification charts requiring students to find text examples and determine the author's purpose, higher-level thinking questions regarding the author's intent, and two short constructed response questions concerning characterization and irony. Answers are provided for all activities.
