"Death by Scrabble" by Charlie Fish is a short story that revolves around a man who is playing a game of Scrabble with his wife. As the game progresses, the man becomes increasingly frustrated with his wife's moves and starts to have dark. To his surprise, the words he plays on the Scrabble board seem to manifest in real life.
